menta

Three ways to power the buy-side resale access

A

Semi-static URL pattern  RECOMMENDED

One generic URL pattern where your side appends the AudienceView event ID; menta resolves it and redirects the fan to the right show. No per-show work — viable only if your side can compose the URL with the event ID.

https://resale.<your-domain>/av/{your-event-id}
B

Per-show URLs, placed by your team

menta provides the exact resale URL for each show when it's activated for resale; your team places it in the storefront. The fan lands straight on their show, at the cost of recurring per-show work.

C

Static catalog URL

One fixed link to the resale catalog — the fan browses the events with live resale and picks theirs. Minimal setup, but the link carries no event context.

https://resale.<your-domain>/

All three are plain links — no callouts from your storefront. Authentication and routing run on menta's side after the click.

Any placement works with any of the three options — pick the URL strategy once; where the links live is your design team's call.

Placement 1

Resale CTA on the event page

A Buy resale tickets button next to each performance — mocked on the sold-out ones as one possibility; when and where it shows is a placement decision.

Placement 2

Resale banner in the event view

A generic banner at the top of the event view — the same component applies to events with and without a seat map alike.

Reference only — the dynamic (API-driven) version of these components not feasible today

For reference: this is how the same components work on platforms whose storefront can call menta's Smart Access Layer. We understand this wouldn't be possible in AudienceView's storefront today — kept here so you have the full picture of where these access points can evolve.

Request — same endpoint resolves both components

Placement 1 · resale CTA on the event page — one GET per page load resolves every performance CTA on the screen; you render it with your own component, no iframe, no injected script.

Response · 200 (trimmed to the relevant component)

Placement 2 · resale banner in the event view — banner copy comes pre-resolved in the response (title, description, CTA text), editable per event or show via wordings, no code changes.

Response · 200 (trimmed to the relevant component)

visible: false ⇒ render nothing — in the dynamic version menta decides contextually with live data.

Availability changes in real time — don’t cache the response.
